Restore AnyDesk access to Chaffee Ubuntu server

Sometimes the AnyDesk application crashes and fails to restart. You can restore access, directly from the Chaffee Client AnyDesk connection.

You need to know the IP of the server. The easiest way to find this is with DW Spectrum Client.

Connect to Chaffee with DW Spectrum client.

Click the stack icon.

Click System Administration and then routing

The correct ip is in the format of the highlighted section, in this case, the IP is 10.1.10.24

Connect to Chaffee client via AnyDesk

From here, open a powershell window. Type powershell in the run/search dialog.

In the window that opens, you will use a command called “ssh” to connect to the DW Ubuntu Server.

type ssh kerrsur@10.1.10.x where x is the last number in the IP you got from DW Spectrum System Admin page.

The password is F!

You will then type “sudo systemctl restart anydesk”

This will restart the AnyDesk program and restore access.
